He was ordained for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in May, 1962. In 1976, he was named Vice-Officialis and also Episcopal Vicar for the Charismatic Prayer Groups. His charismatic involvement began in 1971. Since then he has authored many books and tapes, both on the Renewal and on spirituality. All are available through Key of David Publications.

In June 1990, he was named Pastor of Presentation B.V.M Parish in Wynnewood, PA.
